The Sex Trap by C.K. Ralston

Summary:
Young Miranda has used her skills as a con artist and her hot moves in the bedroom to make her way in life. Now, as part of her latest Sex Trap scam, she’s met Liam, who is older, rich, and totally wrong for her but exactly the man she wants.

Now she finds herself wondering if she’s hot enough to hold him, smart enough to keep him interested in her, and clever enough to prevent him from finding out about her lurid past. Her ex-boyfriend, vicious, half crazy Aaron wants her back with him and will do just about anything to make that happen: can Miranda find the steel within herself to stand up to Aaron and make him back off before he tells Liam all about her?

Just how far is she willing to go to make this con work? Is she good enough to cheat death?

When I read the blurb I thought this book was just going to be one massive sex scene and maybe a small storyline. I was wrong! It was an interesting yet steamy book. The author made sure that the characters were balanced and represented the two worlds that today’s society categories people into, rich or poor.

I'm giving 3.5 stars, because the blurb for this book was misleading and the relationship between Miranda and the antagonist, who happens to be Miranda's ex. When he disappears and then reappears a couple chapters later, we get the general idea of where he had been but it would have been nice to of seen something about him in those chapters. Also, even though we know the facts of Miranda’s past we never saw her reveal this to Liam which could have added another element to the book.
